Very quick muffins cooked in the air fryer. Today I bring you delicious, soft and delicate little cakes, perfect for your breakfast or a quick snack. Preparing these soft muffins is really easy: you only need five minutes for the batter and just ten minutes for the cooking directly in the air fryer! They are ideal for anyone who has little time to dedicate to making a tasty treat. These muffins I propose are vanilla-flavored, with an irresistible chocolate center. The air fryer cooking helps us halve the times and the result is truly surprising: I assure you these muffins are very soft!

Ingredients For the very quick muffins.

  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 1/3 tablespoons vegetable oil (neutral oil)
  • 7/8 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Half vial vanilla extract
  • 4 teaspoons hazelnut spread (Or whichever you prefer)

With these ingredients I made four large muffins; if you use smaller liners you will get more.

Steps For the very quick muffins

  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using a hand whisk until the mixture becomes light and frothy.
    Add the oil, the milk and the vanilla extract, mixing until all the liquids are incorporated.
    Begin adding, gradually, the flour sifted together with the baking powder. Mix well, but only as much as necessary, to obtain a smooth batter without lumps.

    Take the paper liners you prefer: you can use sturdier paper liners or those in aluminum.
    Pour a little of the batter into each liner to make the base.
    Place in the center a heaping teaspoon of hazelnut spread (or Nutella) to create the chocolate heart, and immediately cover it with more batter, filling the liners about two-thirds full.
    Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 320 °F.
    Place the liners inside and cook for 10 minutes.
    Always do the toothpick test: if it comes out dry, the muffins are ready!
    Here they are ready, as I told you, they are very quick and perfect for a tempting break!
